Wolverine

Today I was watching a pirate movie called wolverine and this is the first time I watch a pirate movie like this one because it looks like a original movie but when they use some kind of animation I saw very bad effects.
For example, when wolverine arrives to the island, they made a shot of the same one and it looks like a cartoon. Another one is when they are fighting I can see the cables they use in order not to fall down.
I hope I can see the movie on the cinema because all in all it was a good movie if you are an x-men fan.

My robot

I'm happy because I almost finish my rover robot.
The robot is going to be used to inspect fires and show the level of 4 gases inside the fire. In addition to the sensors, the robot has a camera to watch and moves it quickly.
I've been working on it since January and it has been so tedious because I've been working with 3 friends and we had to manufacture all the pieces of the robot.
The most difficult pieces were joints because they must be so precise to join them.
We use aluminum mainly and Teflon to made some bearings.
We present this project in the middle of June and we hope pass the exam to have our title as a Mechatronic Engineer

PAINTING CELL
A painting cell is, as its name say it is a manufacturing cell that carry out the painting of products and in this particular case is conformed by a belt Conveyor, main and a slave PLC, a speed variator, a warehouse, two manufacturer machines, a painting cell, a Gantry robot and a vision system.

The following process is the way in which a painting cell works:
1) The warehouse takes the raw material or the working material and it is placed over the Conveyor belt.
2) The Conveyor belt transports the pallet towards the manufacturing station where raw material is modified.
3) Gantry robot takes in and takes out raw material into manufacturer machines.
4) When machines finish manufacturing the material it is taken by Gantry robot and put over Conveyor belt to continue with the process.
5) Conveyor belt drives the pallet towards painting cell. And the robot takes in, paints and takes the material out.
6) The pallet is driven by Conveyor belt again.
7) Vision system carries out quality control and verifies if the piece was painted correctly.
8) The pallet is taken by the warehouse arm and placed in a bay.

Hurricanes........ so terrorific

Look at this picture, is beautiful but deadly. One Hurricane can destroy complet cityes in it´s way. Everything it can touch would have it´s word end.

Hurricane is the regionally specific name for a strong tropical cyclone. A tropical cyclone with maximum sustained winds of over 33 metres per second (about 64 knots, or 74 mph) is referred to as a "hurricane" in the North Atlantic Ocean, the Northeast Pacific Ocean east of the dateline, and the South Pacific Ocean east of 160E. Tropical cyclones with maximum sustained winds over this limit are referred to by other names in other regions, such as "typhoon", "severe tropical cyclone", "severe cyclonic storm", and just plain old "tropical cyclone".

Hurricanes are traditionally given names, such as Hurricane Andrew or Hurricane Betty[?]. The names are always given strictly alphabetically, with the first hurricane of any particular year being given a name that begins with the letter "A" and the second being given a name that begins with "B," and so on. This sequence is restarted at A again at the beginning of every year, though the names themselves vary from year to year. The lists of names are prepared in advance, and reused periodically, except that the names of particularly destructive storms are "retired".

I prefer living far away this kind of natural phenomena. Finally, take care of everithing around you.

And, talking about cartoons........

The thundercats Ohhhhh¡¡¡ Do you remember that? I used to be the fan #1 whe I was a child. ThunderCats follows the adventures of the eponymous team of heroes, cat-like humanoid aliens from the planet of Thundera. The series begins with the dying Thundera meeting its end, forcing the ThunderCats (a sort of Thunderean nobility) to flee their homeworld. The fleet is attacked by the Thundereans's enemies, the Mutants of Plun-Darr and the spaceship fall down in the third planet where Mum-Ra .

Something that was fantastic is the sword mystical Eye of Thudera. The sword used to open the eye when the thundercats were in trouble. Lion-O's was the leader of the thundercats, so if you don´t remember of these heroes I´ll to tell you: Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, WilyKit and WilyKat, and Snarf.

Mum-Ra was the evil wizard, Reptilio was an idiot and the Lunatacs too, but, this cartoon was so fun. I rememeber I used to play to the thundercats and I, of course, was Lion-O. I had a sword and i used to use ir against my brother.

Just to remember: Thunder¡ Thunder¡ Thundercats¡¡¡ OOHHHHHHH¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

Do you know who Cliff Burton was?

Clifford Lee Burton was a bassist best known for his work with the American heavy metal band Metallica from 1982 until his death in 1986. He made heavy use of distortion and effects.Burton's early influence was essential in creating the unique musical style for which Metallica became famous. Burton joined the band in 1982 and performed on their debut album Kill'em all.

In 1892 James Hetfeld and Lars Ulrich wanted to recruit him for their own band but the idea of having to move to Los Angeles did not sit well with him, and said he would join only if the band would relocate from Los Angeles to his native San Francisco Bay Area. Metallica, eager to have Cliff in the band left their origin of Los Angeles to make a home in San Francisco, California.

During the European leg of the Damage Inc. tour the band had complained that the sleeping cubicles on their tour bus were unsatisfactory and uncomfortable. On the evening of September 26, 1986, Burtonwas asleep when at several minutes before 7 am (on the 27th), according to the driver, the band's tour bus ran over a patch of black ice, skidded off of the road and flipped onto the grass and Burton was thrown through the window of the bus, which fell on top of him causing his death.

He was the best bassist ever. He could play the bass as one guitar. But the heavy metal fans will remember him for ever.

Wouldn't you like to travel in a Hudson from 1952??? Or what about going to a night club, sing and dance a lovely melody from Frank Sinatra??? Or maybe you just prefer to spend time playing a video game and go to dance elektro music in a fashion night club on friday's night wearing shorts and a super sexy blouse.

Well, let me tell you that if you chose the first two options you had been happy living in 50's. In this decade life for young people was really amazing because there was newer and newer things as color television and the first computer from IBM in 1955. Also have a date was so much more romantic and simple; for example young people could go to the "autocinema", go dancing to a night club and listen music from Elvis Presley, Bobby Rydell or something more romantic as Frank Sinatra.

Of course we can't forget parents and rules in that time. There was enough parental control and boys and girls could't do whatever they wanted but is was good.

If you prefer spend your time playing a video game or going to a fashion night club you're living in the perfect time because today we have the opportunity to do a lot of things such as call by cell phone, used faster computers and cars. We could think that have these kind of devices is really fashion and great but the truth is we are slaves of these ones. Don't you think???

Don´t forget that today we have also lots and lots of entertainment activities like ice skating, go to the cinema or to a night club. I know all this sound great, however these activities are, nowadays, al little expensive for almost people.

If you ask to me I can tell you that young people was happier 50 years ago than today =( . Just comparing life's style: today young people is more stressed than young people who lived on 50's. But guys don't feel sad for this... Do exactly the opposite... BE HAPPY!!!

HOW FUNNY!!!

One day Sara asked to Joe:
- " Aren't you wearing your wedding ring on the wrong finger?"
So, Joe answer:
-" Yes I am, I married the wrong woman."
.......OR WHAT ABOUT???......

When Dany was young he didn't like going to weddings. His grandmother would tell him, "You're next"However, she stopped doing that after he started saying the same thing to her at funerals.

When someone tell you a joke we start to laugh an laugh, of course it depends of how fun the joke was.

But what about if the joke is on you??? For example today was dinner time and my mom told me "Please, cook the dinner on a low temperature while I go to the market " so I when to the kitchen and heat the dinner. I thought to have enough time to take a quick shower while my mom came back and I did it. My aunt, who was at my home, put a little water into the soup. Minutes later my mom arrived and I had finished to take my shower so my aunt, my mom, my nephew and I took sit and started to eat. When my mom tasted the soup she said that it was sweet and my uncle said that soup need some salt. I tasted the soup and tought the same that my mom. She asked to us what we had put to the soup and my aunt said that she had put some water from the jar .My mom and I started to laugh and my aunt asked what was so funny, and I said to her that water that was in the jar was lemon water of the day before...

Podcast, did you know it?

Hi guys!!!
Yes, I know, this is my first post, quite late, but I promise to write more often. Anyway, as you see, I´m going to talk about podcasts, did you know it? Last week, a friend to me show me some mp3 files. It seemed to be like radio broadcasts, but, of couse, it wasn´t live. It´s a new digital media for use. A podcast are a series of digital media files, that are available for download from web, and then, to play it at any computer or portable audio device, as an ipod or mp3-player. There are a lot of podcasts on the web about whatever you can imagine, you can find podcasts about music, science, sports, culture, politics, video games, films, tecnology, etc.
I´ve listened Olallo Rubio´s Podcast, do you know him? He was a Radioactivo 98.5 broadcaster, until the radio station disapeared in 2004. Now, he produces a podcast for R&R Magazine. He talk about music, politics, culture, and other controversial items, promoting free opinion speech and public conscience. I recomend you to listen to it in order to open our minds listening a diferent point of view which you can´t find on radio or television.
This is the link you can click on to download Olallo Rubio´s Podcast:

Well, see you in the next post.

The human rights

Hello to all the members of FCE4,this is my first contribution to the blog and I hope not to be the last. Well, I just want you to be a little bit informed about the Declaration of the Human Rights because, many of us talk about our rights when a police officer stops us without a good argument and things like that and the question is; How much do we know about it? well, here you are some facts:
They were created on December 10th, 1948 by the General Assembly of the United Nations, there are thirty articles in the text and they are to be dispersed, expossed, read and commented in every school around the world without political restrictions of the countries and the territories. The main purpose is freedom for everybody.
Finally and hopping not to bore you with this piece of information I want to close telling you this: be good but not so frightfully good, ok bye.

Swine flu Virus

CDC: Swine flu viruses in U.S. and Mexico match

U.S. health officials expressed concern Friday that a swine flu virus that has infected eight people in the United States matches samples of a virus that has killed at least 68 people in Mexico.

Swine flu is usually diagnosed only in pigs or people in regular contact with them.
As a precaution to avoid further contamination, schools and universities in Mexico City and the state of Mexico were closed Friday, said the national health secretary, Jose Angel Cordova Villalobos. He said the schools may remain closed for a while.
The new virus has genes from North American swine and avian influenza, human influenza, and swine influenza normally found in Asia and Europe, said Nancy Cox, chief of the CDC's Influenza Division.
A pandemic is defined as: a new virus to which everybody is susceptible; the ability to readily spread from person to person; and the capability of causing significant disease in humans, said Dr. Jay Steinberg, an infectious disease specialist at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta. The new strain of swine flu meets only one of the criteria: novelty.
All I can say is that this is an unexpected illness, so we have to be careful because it can cause the death. For the time being, """""there no class tomorrow""""" ( Mr. Ruben words) yeahhhh¡¡¡

Monsters Vs Aliens

Have you already seen that movie?... it´s the funniest movie on this moment, i recommend it... normally i prefer the movies with action, fiction or horror but i saw it due to the fact that one friend of mine wanted and i enjoyed the movie.

The characters are too different but they are fantastic as a group, since ratatouille i hadn´t seen a good cartoon movie, so if you have free time go to the movietheater in order to enjoy it.
Now a day is difficult to find a movie or even something that make me laugh like that and i´m sure that it happens the same with you and that´s why each day that pass in our life make us more complicated as a person, we have different thoughts, plans and ideas, and those things are the reason of we can´t enjoy the simple things of life.
However no matter what happen in your life the important is try to have fun with your friends, family or whatever, so as i said at the begining i recommend this movie, i hope that you really like it.

fuckin bus driver!!

Hi everybody.
I know the last class we talk about not to write a comment in the Saturday morning, but I forget all about my english class in this vacations and the first week at school.

I wanna talk about a recently accident that I had the last Thursday: As some of you know I am working in my professional project in the Anahuac University (the one which is at the south of Mexico city) and the last Thursday I went there by bus thinking that if I went by car I was going to arrive later than if I went by bus due to Barack Obama and Reforma avenue and Conscripto avenue could be closed.

When I came back to my home I pay to the driver of the bus with a two hundred note because I got no one else, He said He will give me the rest later so I wait at the end of the trip to go for my change and when I told him, He said He had given the change to me but He never do it and He started to say He can not give me the change again so, He just give me back a hundred and He stole me the rest.

I hope You never have an experience like this one because it is very difficult to deal with a bus driver about money.

See you later

Drama in store in the last four

Victories for Manchester United FC and Arsenal FC last night guarantee an English presence in the UEFA Champions League showpiece in Rome on 27 May, while a second successive all-English final would be on the cards if Chelsea FC were to get the better of FC Barcelona in the other tie. uefa.com looks at the history behind the fixtures ahead of the eagerly awaited last-four ties.

FC Barcelona v Chelsea FCTuesday 28 April – Camp NouWednesday 6 May – Stamford Bridge

It is the third time the clubs have met in the latter stages. Barcelona won an epic quarter-final in 1999/00, 6-4 on aggregate after scoring twice in extra time, and also had the edge in the first knockout round in 2005/06 en route to winning a second European Champion Clubs' Cup. Twelve months earlier at the same stage John Terry headed a late winner to send the Blues through 5-4 on aggregate.
Barcelona have won four of the nine previous semi-finals they have contested – those successes coming in 1960/61, 1985/86, 1993/94 and 2005/06 – in addition to advancing to the 1991/92 final as winners of their last-eight group.
Barcelona's home record against English opposition is impressive, with 13 wins, nine draws and just two losses from 24 previous meetings. Both those defeats came against Liverpool: a 1-0 reverse in the 1975/76 UEFA Cup semi-final first leg, and then a 2-1 defeat in the 2006/07 first knockout round.
Last season's semi-final defeat by Manchester United means the Spanish club have won seven and lost nine of 16 two-legged contests against English opponents.
Chelsea are in the semi-finals for the fifth time in six seasons. Their victory against Liverpool last season followed two previous defeats by the Reds, while they also lost at this stage in 2003/04, succumbing 5-3 on aggregate against AS Monaco FC.
Manchester United FC v Arsenal FCWednesday 29 April – Old TraffordTuesday 5 May – Arsenal Stadium

Since meeting for the first time on 13 October 1894, the clubs have played 204 times. The Gunners have 77 wins to United's 82.
Apart from last season's final, Manchester United have never met an English club in the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal have faced English opposition in Europe on two previous occasions, losing quarter-finals to Chelsea in 2003/04 and Liverpool last season.
United's ten preceding semi-final appearances have brought just three victories, the most recent being last season when they eliminated Barcelona on their way to a final victory against Chelsea in Moscow.
Arsenal have a 100 per cent record in UEFA Champions League semi-finals, having beaten Villarreal CF in their only previous appearance in 2005/06.
The clubs are the only teams to win the English league and FA Cup double three times. United did it in 1994, 1996 and 1999; Arsenal in 1971, 1998 and 2002.
In my opinion, statistics only shows facts, but nothing is gonna be repeated because of facts. But, in this case Chelsea is better than Barcelona, and Man U is better than Arsenal, so I think that the final battle is Man U vs Chelsea, my favorite is Man U and is going to be the champion.
Hi guys!!!
This time I'd like to tell you about one of my favourite cartoons: Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. This is an american animated series created and produced at Cartoon Network Studios. In this unreal universe, imaginary friends become physical from the instant a child imagines them; with specific emotions and details. Pitifully, the children eventually outgrow them around ages 7-8 and friends are left to survive for themselves.

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends was founded by the elderly Madame Foster to provide a foster home for abandoned imaginary friends.

My favourite character from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends is Cheese. He is a yellowish imaginary friend created by Louise (Mac's neighbor). He's got red eyes and he smells of cheese =D

Cheese is such a madcap guy who used to say incoherent phrases, bend his head until almost break his neck and scream a lot. Cheese likes video games, fishy crackers (goldfish crackers), candies, cereal and chocolate milk, although he is lactose-intolerant. He hates cakes, spiders and spoons. Once Bloo confused him for an alien he saw in a horror film. :P

SiMpLy... I lOvE hIm!!!

Ohh... Thanks for your last comments and your links, they were pretty helpful :D

Have you ever read any book of Gabriel García Marquéz??? Let me tell you that he is my favourite writer. He has written novels like El amor en los tiempos del Cólera, La triste historia de la Cándida Erendira y su abuela desalmada y El coronel no tiene quien le escriba among others but my favourite book is Cien años de Soledad.

This book is about the story of Buendia family and begin when Jose Arcadio and Ursula get married. After a while of being married Jose Arcadio kill to a man named Prudencio Aguilar and his ghost start to follow to Jose Arcadio so he promise to leave the village. This is the way in which Jose Arcadio, Ursula and many others friends of him found Macondo.

Ursula and Jose Arcadio have children named Aureliano, Jose Arcadio and Amaranta. This family is so unusual due to all of them start to date, married and cheet to each other...

Well, I would like to tell you more about this book however I recomend you to read it by yourselves....

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

When we were so much younger we imagined to be married with a Prince Charming and live happily ever after, of course in the case of girls. Boys imagined to be a superhero maybe like Superman or Spideman and to have superpowers like superhuman vision, wallcrawlin or waterbreathing and be happy with these kind of things. We were not worried about anything or anyone.
The truth is that life is not as easier as we were tought. When people grow up things star to be a little complicated and if these are not like that people make them more and more difficult each time. For example when we are babies the only thing that can worry to us is if mommy is with us or if we have enough milk, or if our diaper is dirty and maybe we think "How difficult is to be a baby".
After when we are kids we think "MMM.... my dad doesn´t want to buy me that toy...", "MMM...why can´t I have a dog?", or "why can´t I go to a place that we want to visit". These ideas make us chilhood difficult and frustrating and we think again "how difficult es to be a kid"
Years later when we are teenagers we are worried for not to fail in school, for be atractive for that girl or boy, for know the world and all in its. At this age we never have that we want and think "How difficult is to be a teenager, was easier to be a kid"
Afterwards we star to worry about get a job, get married, get a house, a dog, a car, etc... Money is one of the most worry things and we begin to lost stuff just for get money. After a while we thing: "How difficult is to be an adult.... to be teenager was so much easier, anything worried me at that time".
My point is that we are always worried for something and never think in happy things that life has for us. Everybody need to star to stop worried for everything and begin to enjoy every single breath, the first sunbeam that touch our face in the morning when we get out home and that soft breeze that the wind brings for us. Please guys just...
DON´T WORRY, BE HAPPY

Those last weeks I've been searching for information about japanese importations of avocado, firstly mexican avocado; due to my school team and I must do an exportation business scheme.
Mexico is the first supplier of avocado in Japan, but the problem is that my team and I haven't found recently information about statistics and forecasts in order to use it in our project.

Other problem is that some web pages are in japanese!!! We tried to translate it but the information obtained is misunderstood :'(

Please!, I beg you!, if you find any recent information about japanese importations of mexican avocado, let me know.

Thanks!!!

WWE: 25th Silver Anniversary

In celebration of a global phenomenon that has forever changed the world of sports and entertainment, only a state the size of Texas can host more than 70,000 fans from 24 countries, including all 50 states and 7 Canadian provinces, to witness the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania. As history prepares to descend upon Houston's Reliant Stadium April 5, 2009, WWE.com is your front-row, box-seat destination to relive all the history, the glory and the spectacle befitting the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Combat Confirmed for WrestleMania 25th:

1.- Championship World Heavy Weight: Edge (c) vs. The Big Show vs. John Cena. I think Jhon Cena will win this combat.

2.- Championship of the WWE: Triple H (c) vs. Randy Orton. I think Triple H is going to brake Randy Orton´s neck. Triple H will win this combat.

3.- Extreme Rules Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy. I´m not sure, but i think Jeff Hardy is better.

4.- The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (HBK). I think the Undertaker will increse the record to 17-0. HBK doesn´t have anything to compete.

5.- Money in the Bank Ladder match :CM Punk vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry vs. MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Christian vs. Finlay. I don´t have a favorite in here.

6.- Intercontinental championship. JBL (c) vs. Rey Mysterio I hate JBL, so Rey Mysterio must win this combat.

7.- 3 on 1 Handicap match:Chris Jericho vs. Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat & Jimmy Snuka (con Ric Flair). .........3 vs 1? I think Chris Jerico will win the combat in spite of being an idiot.

8.- Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal: 25 luchadoras de RAW, SmackDown y ECW. It doesn't matter who wins, all they are so beautiful.

Thats my prediction.

Don’t drop your gum here!!

Warning to all u unconscious, if u drop your gum in Centro Historico, you might be going to pay a fine. df's government approved a new law againts people who throw their gum on the street will be fined
so don´t be a pig and throw the garbage where it should be

How to keep your computer virus-free

Nowadays there's a lot of concern regarding computer and internet safety. Unfortunately, we live in a world made up of information and, if you're not connected to the internet, you're almost out of the world.

That's exactly what makes you vulnerable to so many things.

In the past, you had to worry about not getting any diseases when you traveled around the world, and even in your hometown. As science and technology advanced, we got rid of all of those worries - even the need to physically travel, thanks to the internet - only to have them replaced with the risk of getting your computer infected by a deadly virus. Isn't that paradoxical? The more we advance, the more we go back to the start.

Of course, there are a number of things that guarantee keeping your computer and your data safe. Never connect to a network. Keep your equipment physically secure in a bulletproof room, wrapped in lead. Take out the hard disk and put it in a safety box. Apply epoxic resin to the USB ports and extract the DVD drive. Keep the keyboard stored in a drawer. Protect the room with dragons.

Other than that, I don't know what will keep you safe.

Do you?

R
